Narayanganj is a city in central Bangladesh. The Port of Narayanganj is an important shipping and industrial center.[1] It is also a center of business and industry, especially making and selling jute and the textiles. It is nicknamed the Dundee of Bangladesh because of its many jute mills.[2]
