Nehemiah Persoff
Nehemiah Persoff (August 2, 1919 – April 5, 2022) was an American actor and artist. He was known for his roles in The Comancheros, Some Like It Hot, An American Tail, The Wrong Man, and in Twins. His career has lasted for over 50 years.

Persoff was born in Jerusalem, on August 2, 1919. He was raised in New York City. Persoff studied the Actors Studio. He was married to Thia Persoff between 1951 and her death in 2021. They had four children.
Persoff died on April 5, 2022 at a care home in San Luis Obispo, California from heart failure, aged 102.[1]
