Nestor Espenilla

Nestor Aldave Espenilla Jr. (12 October 1958 – 23 February 2019) was a Filipino politician and economist. He was the fourth Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas from 2017 to 2019. He was appointed by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.[1][2] He was born in San Jacinto, Masbate, Philippines.

Espenilla Jr. died in Manila on 23 February 2019 from oral cancer, aged 60.[3]
