New Madrid, Missouri
New Madrid is a city in New Madrid County, Missouri. It is in southeastern Missouri and is on the Mississippi River. At the 2020 census, 2,787 people lived there.
The city was established in 1776 to 1778. It was the scene of the huge 1811–1812 New Madrid earthquakes.
