Nick Galifianakis (politician)
Nick Galifianakis (July 22, 1928 - March 27, 2023) was an American attorney and politician. He was the Democratic U.S. Congressman from North Carolina. He served as a representative from 1967 through 1973.
Galifianakis was born in Durham, North Carolina.[1][2] He studied at Duke University, and was an assistant professor at this university.
Galifianakis was the uncle of comedian Zach Galifianakis.[3]
Galifianakis died at the age of 94 on March 27, 2023.
