Nicolas Chumachenco

Nicolas Chumachenco (also known as Nicolas Chumachenko; March 27, 1944 – December 12, 2020), was a Polish-born Spanish-German violin soloist and professor. He was director of the Queen Sofía Chamber Orchestra.[1] Chumachenco was born in Kraków, in Nazi-occupied Poland, to Ukrainian parents who left Poland at the end of the Second World War.
Chumachenco died on December 12, 2020 in Schallstadt, Germany at the age of 76.[2]
