North Nicosia (Turkish: Kuzey Lefkoşa) is the capital and largest city of Northern Cyprus.[1] North Nicosia is in the Turkish Cypriot side of the city, which contains half of the Old City. North Nicosia is governed by the Nicosia Turkish Municipality.
North Nicosia has a rich cultural heritage with the walled city boasting many historical sites and attractions.[2]
North Nicosia has a population of 61,378 and a metropolitan area with a population of 82,539.
