"Nothing Compares 2 U" is a song written by Prince for his side project The Family for their debut studio album The Family and was made famous by Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor for her second studio album I Do Not Want What I Haven't Go. It was a worldwide hit, going to number 1 in many places. It was nominated for 3 Grammy Awards in 1991.
