Nuss Procedure

(Redirected from Nuss Prodcedure)

The Nuss Procedure is a surgical procedure to correct Pectus excavatum, as a birth defect also known as sunken chest syndrome. The procedure inserts a metal bar into the chest.

Alternative noninvasive treatment

The vacuum bell has been improved as a nonsurgical method to finally treat pectus excavatum.[1][2]
