The Optare MetroRider is a step-entrance midibus that was built by Optare between 1989 and 2000.

History

It was made in November 1989, One thousand one hundred fifty-nine MetroRiders were made.^[1]^[2]

An electric version of the MetroRider was made in 1993.^[3]

A natural gas version was made in 1995.^[4]
