The Optare MetroRider is a midibus that was made from 1989 to 2000 by Optare. It had a step-entrance.

One thousand one hundred fifty-nine MetroRiders were made.^[1]^[2]

Electric version

An electric version of the MetroRider was made in 1993.^[3]

A natural gas version was made in 1995.^[4]
