Peter R. de Vries
Peter Rudolf de Vries (14 November 1956 – 15 July 2021) was a Dutch investigative journalist and crime reporter. He was known for hosting the television program Peter R. de Vries, misdaadverslaggever.[1] In 2005, he founded his own political party.[2]

Death
On 6 July 2021, De Vriea was shot in the head after leaving the television studio of RTL Boulevard in Amsterdam.[3] He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he died nine days later at the age of 64.[4]
