Petite bourgeoisie
In Marxism, the petite bourgeoisie (or petty bourgeoisie) is the social class made up of small merchants and peasants who own land. The term comes from French and means "small bourgeoisie".[1][2] Unlike the bourgeoisie, they do not own the means of production.[3] However, they try to be like the bourgeoisie.
