Pilita Corrales


María del Pilar Garrido Corrales (August 22, 1939 – April 12, 2025),[1] better known as Pilita Corrales, was a Filipino singer, actress and comedian. She was known for her distinctive backbend[2] when singing and was popularly referred to as the "Greatest singer in the Philippines"[3][4] and "Asia's Queen of Songs" for her vocal style and longevity.[5][6][7][8]Corrales recorded 135 albums throughout her six-decade career.[9]
