Porsanger

Porsanger, or Porsáŋgu, is a municipality in Norway's northernmost county.

Settlements include Lakselv.

Administration

In October 2023, a new municipal council will meet, and it elects a mayor (for 4 years).

• 6 council members are from Conservative party
• 5 from Tverrpolitisk Liste Porsanger
• 3 from Labour party
• 3 from Progress party
• 1 from Socialist Left party
• 1 from Centre party

(19 council members were elected during the 2023 Norwegian local elections.)
