Princess Leia Organa, born Leia Amidala Skywalker, is a character from the Star Wars universe. Leia was played by Carrie Fisher in the original three Star Wars movies: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. She is also a main character in many novels that are set in the Star Wars universe.

Character history

Organa is the daughter of Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker. She has a twin brother, Luke Skywalker. Her mother died giving birth to her and her brother. The twins were taken at birth and given to different families to raise. Leia was raised by the family of Alderaan's Senator Bail Organa as his daughter.

Leia was in a romantic relationship with Han Solo and both have a child Ben Solo. Kylo Ren becomes evil and becomes the main villain in Star Wars sequel trilogy.
