Qi Xin

Qi in the 1940s

Qi Xin (Chinese: 齐心; born 3 November 1926) is a Communist Party of China member, writer and educator. She was born in Gaoyang County, Hebei. She has written many articles on her husband Xi Zhongxun. She is the mother of Xi Jinping, current General Secretary of the Communist Party of China.[1]

Qi visited provincial and county-level schools set-up by the communist government as a consultant.[2] It has been suggested that this position provided her family with relatively good protection during the Cultural Revolution.
