Red Velvet (Korean: 레드벨벳) is a South Korean girl group. It was formed in 2014 with four members: Wendy, Irene, Joy and Seulgi. Their first song called "Happiness" was released in August 2014. Later in March of 2015, their label, SM Entertainment, added Yeri to the group. Since then, the group has been active with five members.
