Torrent salamander

The torrent salamander is a species of salamanders. They are also known as Cascade salamanders. They are part of the family Rhyacotritonidae. They live in the Pacific Northwest.

The genus is divided into four species
- Cascade Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton cascadae)
- Columbia Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton kezeri)
- Olympic Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton olympicus)
- Southern Torrent Salamander (Rhyacotriton variegatus)
