Richard Lydekker

Richard Lydekker (25 July 1849 – 16 April 1915) was an English paleontologist and mammalogist. He wrote a number books on natural history. He was a member of the Geological Survey of India. He later joined the British Museum of Natural History. He was responsible for creating their catalog on their vertebrate fossil collections.
