Robert Graetz

Robert Sylvester Graetz Jr. (May 16, 1928 – September 20, 2020) was an American Lutheran clergyman. He was the white pastor of a black congregation in Montgomery, Alabama. He openly supported the Montgomery bus boycott and became a well known activist during the civil rights movement.

Graetz died from Parkinson's disease at his home in Montgomery, Alabama on September 20, 2020 at the age of 92.[1]
