Robert V. Keeley
Robert Vossler Keeley (September 4, 1929 – January 9, 2015) was an American politician. He served in Foreign Service of the United States, from 1956 to 1989. He served three times as Ambassador: to Greece (1985–89), Zimbabwe (1980–84), and Mauritius (1976–78). In 1978–80 he was Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, in charge of southern and eastern Africa.
Keeley was born in Beirut, French Lebanon to American parents. He died in Washington, D.C. from a stroke at the age of 85.
