Rolleston, New Zealand
Rolleston is a town in the Selwyn District. It is named after Canterbury statesman William Rolleston. It has a population of 31,000 and is the second largest place in the Canterbury Region. It is 22 kilometers southwest of Christchurch. It has five primary schools and one high school that opened in January 2017. Prior to Rolleston College's opening the nearest high school was Lincoln High School. State Highway 1 runs through the city. Burnham Military Camp is located about 7 kilometers west of the town centre. Rolleston is a very fertile land area.
