Rose Marie Battaglia

Rose Marie Battaglia (1929 – 24 November 2020) was an American basketball coach. She coached at both high school and college levels, before retiring in 1989. She was added into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.[1]

Battaglia began her coaching career at Paramus Catholic High School in New Jersey. She also coached at Bergen Community College and at Iona College. She also coached at St Michael's in Union City and Benedictine Academy in Elizabeth.[2][3][4]

Battaglia died on 24 November 2020 in Bergen County, New Jersey from lung cancer at the age of 91.[5]
