Ruse (also transliterated as Rousse, Russe; Bulgarian: [Русе] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a municipality in northern Bulgaria with about 150,000 people living in it. It is a port city on the Danube river and is an important cultural and industrial center.
