Saado Ali Warsame
Saado Ali Warsame (Somali: Saado Cali Warsame, Arabic: سادو علي ورسمه; 1950 – 23 July 2014) was a Somali singer-songwriter and politician. She served as a member of the Federal Parliament of Somalia from August 2012 until her death in July 2014.

On 23 July 2014, Warsame and her driver were gunned down by unknown assailants in Mogadishu as she was being driven to a hotel.[1] Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.[2][3]
