Saado Ali Warsame
Saado Ali Warsame (Somali: [Saado Cali Warsame] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help), Arabic: سادو علي ورسمه; 1950 – 23 July 2014) was a Somali singer-songwriter and politician. She served as a member of the Federal Parliament of Somalia from August 2012 until her assassination.

Death
On 23 July 2014, Warsame and her driver were shot to death by unknown assailants in Mogadishu as she was driving to the hotel.[1] Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.[2][3]
