Sachal Sarmast
Hazrat Sain (Saint) Sachal Sarmast (1730-1829), whose real name was Abdul Wahab Faruqi, was a famous mystic poet and Sufi of Sindh (now in Pakistan).
Sachal wrote poems about his love of God.[1] He spent most of his life teaching that all human beings - of all religions, colours and groups - are bound together by the Divine Love.[2]
His shrine is at Daraza village, Ranipur, close to Khairpur, Pakistan.[3]
