History
In 1888, the formerly independent municipalities with Saint-Aubin and Sauges merged to form Saint-Aubin-Sauges.
On 1 January 2018, the former municipalities of Bevaix, Saint-Aubin-Sauges, Gorgier, Vaumarcus, Montalchez and Fresens became the new municipality of La Grande-Béroche.[1]
