San Bernardino County, California
San Bernardino County is a very large county in southeastern California. As of 2020, 2,181,654 people lived there.[1] Places within the county include the city of San Bernardino, California. It is the largest county of California, and in area it is larger than the state of Maryland.

Don Antonio María Lugo was granted the right to settle the San Bernardino Valley in 1839 by Governor Juan Bautista Alvarado.
