San Bernardino Mountains
The San Bernardino Mountains are a mountain range in southern California. It is northeast of San Bernardino. The highest peak is San Gorgonio Mountain, at an elevation of 11,503 ft (3,506 m).

The mountains are named for the San Bernardino Valley, in turn named by the Spanish in 1810
The Mill Creek valley was the first area of the mountains to be logged.
