Scottish Borders
Scottish Borders is a council area (region) in south Scotland. Its name is because it is on the border with England.
The name is usually shortened to " the Borders".
It is made up of the counties of :-
- Berwickshire
- Peeblesshire
- Selkirkshire
The main town of the region is Newtown St Boswells.
