Scottish Borders
Scottish Borders is a council region in south Scotland. Its name reflects its being on the border with England. The name is usually shortened to "the Borders".
It is made up of the counties of :
The main town of the region is Newtown St. Boswells. These areas in the borders are mainly agricultural land.
