Serpentico

Jonathan Cruz Rivera (born February 23, 1984) is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler. He currently wrestles for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and for their sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) under the ring names Serpentico, Jon Cruz, and Ben Dejo.

Professional wrestling career

All Elite Wrestling

On the March 24, 2020 episode of Dark, Serpentico made his AEW debut, teaming with Matt Sells in a loss to The Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes and Q. T. Marshall).[1] After a 10-match losing streak, Serpentico finally earned a victory on the July 14 episode of Dark, teaming with Luther and defeating Brady Pierce & Pineapple Pete.[2] At Winter Is Coming, Serpentico participated in the battle royal to determine the two wrestlers that face each other for the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring 2020. The match was won by MJF and Orange Cassidy.[3]

At Double or Nothing, Serpentico participated in the Casino Battle Royal for a shot at the AEW World Championship in the future but the match was won by Jungle Boy.[4] On the October 5 episode of Dark, Serpentico earned his first singles victory when he defeated Marko Stunt.[5]

On the July 11, 2024 episode of ROH on HonorClub, Serpentico challenged Atlantis Jr. for the ROH World Television Championship but was unsuccessful.[6]
