Shah Abdul Hamid

Shah Abdul Hamid (born 1890 - died 1 May 1972) was a Bangladeshi politician and the first speaker of the Constituent Assembly.

Early life

Shah Hamid was born in 1890 in the village of Khalsi in Gobindganj, then Rangpur district (now Gaibandha district) of British India. His father's name was Haji Abdul Gaffar Shah and his mother was Rahima Khatun.[2]
