Thomas Paulsley "Sleepy" LaBeef ( LaBeff; July 20, 1935 – December 26, 2019) was an American rockabilly singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor. He was born in Smackover, Arkansas.

His first hit was 1968's "Every Day", which peaked at No. 73 on the U.S. Billboard Country charts.[1] After moving to Plantation Records in 1969, he scored a second hit in 1971 with "Blackland Farmer", which charted at No. 67.[1]

LaBeef also starred in the horror movie The Exotic Ones. He was more popular in Europe.[2]

LaBeef died on December 26, 2019 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 84.[3]
