The Tea Horse Road or Chamadao (simplified Chinese: 茶马道code: zh is deprecated ; traditional Chinese: 茶馬道code: zh is deprecated ) now mostly called the Ancient Tea Horse Road or Chamagudao (simplified Chinese: 茶马古道code: zh is deprecated ; traditional Chinese: 茶馬古道code: zh is deprecated ) was a network of paths going through the mountains of Sichuan, Yinnuan and Tibet in Southwest China.^[1] It was also a tea trade route.
