He started his music career in 2017 and came into spotlight after the release of the hit single Higher.[3][4] He is currently signed to Amen Records.[5]
Growing up and education
Chika was born in Lagos, Nigeria to American parents and has four siblings. He is a graduate of University of Lagos where he studied Physics Science.[2]
Career
Chika's musical career started in 2017 following the release of his hit song titled Higher.[3]
In February 2018, Chika released his second studio album named Gospel and a Little Love, eventually becoming a bestseller on Amazon on the first week of its release.[6][7][8]
On April 2018, it was reported that the gospel singer was attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the "Longest Officially Released Song".[9][5]
In June 2018, several popular news channels has reported that St. Chika had broken the Guinness World Record with a 4 hour, 2 minutes, 4 seconds long song, "Power in the Name of the Lord"[10][11][12][13][1][14][15][16]
