Stanley Donen
Stanley Donen (April 13, 1924 – February 21, 2019) was an American movie director and choreographer. His most famous movies were Singin' in the Rain and On the Town.[1]
Donen was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He was married to Marion Marshall from 1952 to 1959 until they divorced. He was partners with comedian Elaine May from 1999 until 2019. Donen died of heart failure in New York City on February 21, 2019 at the age of 94.[2]
