Starogard Gdański (Polish pronunciation: [staˈrɔɡard ˈɡdaj̃skʲi]; until 1950 Starogard, meaning "the old stronghold"; Pomeranian/Kashubian: [Starogarda] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help); German: [Preußisch Stargard] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a town in Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland with 48,328 people living here in 2004.^[1]^[2]
