Steven Bochco

Steven Ronald Bochco (born December 16, 1943) was an American television producer and writer. He created a number of popular television hits including Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, Doogie Howser, M.D., and NYPD Blue. He also had unsuccessful series including Cop Rock.[1] He won Emmy Awards for his writing in 1981 and 1987.
