Early life

Kochar has a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree and is a recipient of an honorary doctorate from a university based in the United Kingdom.[1][2]

Career

He started working as an astrologer in 2000. In 2006, he hosted 2,710 episodes of Kismat Ke Sitare on Zee News and Zee TV International, for which he was later listed in the Limca Book of Records[3] as the only astrologer to have hosted the longest-running astrology show ever on national television.[4][5]

He also hosted Guiding Star on ARY Digital in Dubai. He has worked on shows like Bach Ke Rehna, What's Your Rashi, Kismet Konnection, Sundeep Kochar Ke Saath, and Aaj Ka Din.

Kochar started his acting career in 2012 and played Professor Tripati in the Hindi film Qasam Se Qasam Se and in 2017, He played the lead role in the Marathi movie Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi.[6][7]
