Taranaki
Taranaki is one of the 16 regions of New Zealand. It is on the North Island. Its largest city is New Plymouth and its seat is Stratford.

Situated around the volcanic summit of Mount Taranaki. The region is 7258 km² in size. There are two sizable bays, North Taranaki Bight and South Taranaki Bight, to the north-west and south-west of Cape Egmont.
