Template:ISO 639 name lij is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code lij, for example: {{Translated page |lij |name of page at Ligurian Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Ligurian Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Ligurian Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |lij}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|lij| some text in Ligurian}} wraps the text with <span lang="lij"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code lij to include articles in Category:Articles containing Ligurian-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Ligurian |lij}}). Also available is {{Lang-lij |some text in Ligurian}} which displays as Ligurian: some text in Ligurian.
- {{R from other language|lij|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Ligurian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|lij}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Ligurian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
