Usage
Template:ISO 639 name oc is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code oc, for example: {{Translated page |oc |name of page at Occitan Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Occitan Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Occitan Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |oc}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|oc| some text in Occitan}} wraps the text with <span lang="oc"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code oc to include articles in Category:Articles containing Occitan-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Occitan |oc}}). Also available is {{Lang-oc |some text in Occitan}} which displays as Occitan: some text in Occitan.
- {{R from other language|oc|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Occitan-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|oc}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Occitan-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
