Template:Infobox ethnonym
person | |
people | |
language |
This template is designed to illustrate ethnic names with divergent variants for the people, nation, and language, as are commonly found in Bantu and other African languages. It takes between one and five parameters.
Minimal example
person | Motswana |
people | Batswana |
language | Setswana |
At a minimum, the template requires three parameters, for a person, the people, and the language, as below and at right:
Motswana
Full example
Tswana | |
person | Motswana |
people | Batswana |
language | Setswana |
country | Botswana |
If a fourth parameter is added, it will show up as the country. A fifth may be used for the root word as a title for the box:

If the fourth parameter is left empty, the 'country' row will not appear, even with a title in the fifth slot.
