This is a documentation subpage for Template:Pp-protected.

This template is not to be used as a bluff. Only use it on FULLY PROTECTED pages. Only administrators can protect pages.

Usage

Use {{pp-protected/doc}} for the normal template
Use {{pp-protected/doc|reason=text}} for applying a specific reason
Use {{pp-protected/doc|expiry=September 28, 2024}} for a specific expiration date
Use {{pp-protected/doc|small=yes}} for just an icon at the top
Use {{pp-protected/doc|expiry={{subst:#time:F j, Y|+7 days}}}} for a specific expiration time period

Note that (UTC) will be added automatically.

This template will categorize into Category:Protected and Category:Protected pages with expiry expired.
