The Great Escape (movie)
The Great Escape is a 1963 American war movie. It is about an escape by Allied prisoners of war from a German POW camp during World War II where the Wehrmacht’s regular Luftwaffe Air Force and the SS and Gestapo become rivals what to do with escaped prisoners of war that a allied military pilots . The movie stars Steve McQueen, James Garner, Donald Pleasence, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, and Richard Attenborough. It got positive reviews from critics.
