The Mentalist
The Mentalist is an American drama television series that ran from September 23, 2008 to February 18, 2015, on CBS.
The Mentalist is a crime drama or police procedural show, meaning that it focused on people in law enforcement solving crimes. The story is about a fictional law enforcement group called the California Bureau of Investigation. The main character, played by actor Simon Baker is a man who used to be a con artist. Specifically, he pretended to be a psychic but really he was good at watching people and figuring out when they were lying. The show also starred female lead Robin Tunney.[1]
For much of the story, the characters try to catch a serial killer called "Red John."[1]
