The Wilby Conspiracy
The Wilby Conspiracy is a 1975 British thriller movie directed by Ralph Nelson and was based on the 1972 novel of the same name by Peter Driscoll. It stars Michael Caine, Sidney Poitier, Nicol Williamson, Prunella Gee, Saeed Jaffrey, Rutger Hauer, Patrick Allen and was distributed by United Artists.
Plot
The movie is about a black anti-Apartheid activist who was released from prison. But the South African regime which did not like his release, set up a plot in order to arrest him again or to kill him. When this plot fails, a British engineer who helps him, are forced to run from the South African Secret Police and try to flee the country.
