Total!
Total! was a monthly video game magazine in the United Kingdom. The magazine was mainly focused on news about video game and consoles from Nintendo. It was owned by Future plc and it ran from January 1992 until October 1996. The magazine was based in Bath, Somerset. The first issue, released in January 1992, spotlighted the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Game Boy, including the games that were released for them.[1]
The magazine was created by Steve Jarratt, Wayne Allen, and Andy Dyer. In Total!, they would review video game and rank them by a score. The release of the magazine was also shortly after the release of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The magazine sold well, with around 80,000 copies per issue in their first year in business.[2] Jarratt would later leave to join Edge magazine.[3]
