Turkistan (city)

Turkistan (Kazakh: Түркістанcode: kk is deprecated , Russian: Туркестанcode: ru is deprecated ) is a city in Kazakhstan, the capital of the Turkistan Region. As of 2023, the population of the city is 220,133.^[1]

Turkistan is one of the oldest cities of Kazakhstan.
