V382 Carinae, also named x Carinae, is a yellow hypergiant star. It is visible to the eye and is seen in the Carina constellation. With a diameter of almost 1 billion kilometers, or 700 times larger than the Sun, it is one of the largest known stars. V382 Carinae is 316,000 times brighter than the Sun.[1]
